Merrick Bank offers two kinds of credit card, Classic Visa and MasterCard card and Secured Visa card.

If you are building or rebuilding your credit history, you may apply for the Merrick Bank Secured Visa card which can be used like any other Visa card. When you apply for a Secured Visa Card, a security deposit will need to be remitted before your card can be sent to you. The credit limit assigned to the Account will be equal to the amount of your security deposit, which can be inbetween $200 and $3,000. Your application will not be approved or declined until funds from the security deposit have been collected by Merrick Bank. To apply for a Merrick Bank Secured Visa card online, you need to suggest the following information:

  • First Name, Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Social Security Number
  • Home Phone
  • Mother’s Maiden Name
  • Mailing Address
  • Gross Annual Income
  • Security Deposit amount $ ($200 minimum up to $3000 maximum)
