Former Finance Minister and candidate for the post of Chancellor in the 2013 elections, peer Steinbrueck will continue its activities as a traveling satirist paired with artist Florian Schroeder. Their tour will begin in July of 2017
The ex-the candidate for Chancellor of Germany from Social democratic party of Germany (SPD) and former Finance Minister peer Steinbrueck has decided to continue his career as a satirist, the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
He will go in tour together with the famous artist Florian Schroeder. The tour will begin in July 2017, the audience is promised “the most fun campaign idea” this summer.

As the DW, Steinbrueck was a rival of Angela Merkel in the elections in Germany in 2013. However, after Steinbrueck lost the election, he announced his departure from big politics.
Until the end of September 2016 Steinbrueck was part of the foreign Affairs Committee of the Bundestag. After leaving Parliament he became an Advisor to the management Board of the Bank ING DiBa Bank, based in Frankfurt am main and a subsidiary of the Dutch group ING Groep, said DW.
